As musicians (current and former staff here at E-org) we have taken the same stance on music piracy since our humble beginnings of sound clips all the way up to our masters being leaked. ENJOY THEM and if you like them enough BUY THEM!

Yet as I say this people are mad and trying to pass legislation to shut down web hosts and sites on a massive scale for posting copyright material. Well all of our stuff is copyright here. Either by us or the respective holders. None of us care about distribution whatsoever. In fact I just looked into our web logs for traffic and found Crunk Tarts got played over 800 times last week on some Russian webcasts. So what if I never see a dime for that?

As an artisan the whole damn point was to get the point across and make it heard. To share my laugh with people and let them enjoy it. Not be a grinch and state “buy before you try”. I think everyone is missing the point in all this. How many musicians even make money from labels anymore? Most funding is provided by merchandise sales. I am not talking copies of the music either. But shirts and trinkets.

So yeah… as SOPA and PIPA gets closer to passing… as just a musician who likes to laugh at things and my stand point on that piece of shit bill… yeah I could get my site shutdown for posting my own damn copyright material. So again I state the world has gone to hell and hardly anyone is will to stand up and let their voices be heard.

But this is just as a musician whose free content is threatened by all this. Look into it for yourself and contact anyone who can do something about it.

Been awhile since I even pondered this. But given the choice between tech tips, art, or new music coming out of E-org what would you like to see next? I still get close to 1k visitors each day so I know people are poking and prodding in all the areas. So step up to the plate and say something.

On Aug 13 2012 E-org may be shutting its’ doors forever. This is due to domain costs and not hosting strangely enough. I know for the last three years content has been waning and lacking. It is not due to lack of interest but time.

Unless I can come up with the domain renewal costs through donations of some kind I will be shutting it all down on Aug 13th. So there, I said it. Please donate and I will finally stop my bitching and do new art and other things…. or well the doors close. I can by contacted via this post, email, facebook or anything else on details if interest is furthered.

So if anyone thought adventure was dead, you should hang out with us. Seriously fucked up how things occur. It is sunday now, but over the last few days I have been locked in a game preserve, been in the hospital, had epic food, drove too damn much, had a huge fire in a barrel, shaved my head, etc.

I guess it really is all about the people you surround yourself with. For instance… Jess, Ellie, Kevin, and myself at a game preserve. We went just to look at the animals, stave off boredom and kill time. After about two hours there it was time to go. We had 30 till closing time and more than enough to get out and get home. Well we hit the exit at 15 till close and find out we are locked in.

So we wind up walking into the woods, wandering over rocks and mud, climbing dead trees and a fence to shimmy down bamboo to get out. we make it home then have to go back because I lost my phone during our great escape. How ironic. Also upon returning rabbit liberation occurred.

Every day this last week has seen something new and fun. I dunno if I should just start video taping it all or what… but it has been something else.

Not really sure were this dream came from. But I was back in high school. Like 15 years ago… yikes. But anyway I was talking to some people in the class and told em’ to fuck off. I told them about me now… my career, bald spot, penchant for all things dark and macrabe. Well I got talking to this one student and we hit off a good friendship.

Well this person was asking about my tattoos and scars. Well I had this quote carved around one of my fingers on my right hand. A nice spiral just below a tattoo. Well I explained it in my dream and was just talking and my alarm went off and woke me.

There is actually a good bit of depth to this dream and more info than I am stick here. However I am just leaving this as a note to myself that I am still a nut bag and well after all this time still have these haunting dreams. Weird as weird can be.
